		<description><![CDATA[actually, todd benzinger is the uncle of stacey, one of girls from the neighborhood where i grew up. he came to visit--at least once, as i recall. i remember my brother was totally thrilled (he was in high school then) that todd spent some time with him and played--ha!--basketball with him! he signed his baseball card and all that kind of stuff too. oh, and maybe we ended up going to an indians/sox game then as well. so long ago... if i were asked, i guess i&#039;d have to say i&#039;d have to stay loyal to ol&#039; wahoo. they did do rather well when i was in college but all admit that i leave all of the indian fever in my brother&#039;s hands.]]></description>

mels--my dad mentioned benzinger, i believe, just recently, but he was before my time. for all my current zeal, i&#039;m relatively new to this whole Red-Sox-Fever ordeal (yes, ordeal!)i just did a quick online look-up, and i gather benzinger was a Red Sock (that&#039;s right) for a couple of years in the late 80&#039;s...know him personally??? :o)
