mels–my dad mentioned benzinger, i believe, just recently, but he was before my time. for all my current zeal, i’m relatively new to this whole Red-Sox-Fever ordeal (yes, ordeal!)i just did a quick online look-up, and i gather benzinger was a Red Sock (that’s right) for a couple of years in the late 80’s…know him personally??? :o)
