That sounds great, Tim, but I didn't intend for you to have to go out of your way and make new ones! I know you guys are busier than I am and have actual exams and lives and stuff like that ;o) I was wondering if you had any that were already made that were just lying around waiting to be bought and put to dignified use. Of course, if you're just DYING to go make a bunch of new mugs, that's another thing, but then we need to talk about prices, because I'm on a Boston Renter's budget :o) I do think they'd make awesome gifts... Let me know.

Ugh, Tim, I know, huh? And wouldn't you know that THIS is the Friday night in which I'm held captive by my own procrastination and stuck 30 minutes OUTside of the city until probably tomorrow night, when it probably won't be there anymore (the snow, that is, not the city. Boston should be able to survive a night without me...)??!! Moral of the story: never put of church projects to a weekend where you already have other scheduled responsability, because that's when the first snow of the season will fall, and you will be stuck in a basement office without windows, fighting with a printer possessed, instead of out dancing in it with your sub-quality digital cam :o(

So, hey, Tim, how about selling me some mugs???????????????????????????????????????????????????
??????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????? ;o)

I actually listened to a robert shaw christmas CD today. Good stuff. I think I enjoy christmas music any time of the year.

It's a scarf, Mels ;o) And it's REALLY snowing, now--still a bit on the wet side to be truly perfect engagement-Charlie Brown-snow, but still very pretty, when you're watching it from inside. I wish there were real windows in this lovely basement office. Then again, it BEING an basement office, they probably wouldn't provide much of a view, anyway. But, well, winter is here, la la la, I wish I had some cinnamon coffee...

i played a christmas cd yesterday. however, i think that was mainly because i had just mentioned it on froc's blog.

i wish we'd get some snow. but you're right, in a big city it doesn't always stay pretty for a long time.

my favorite kind of snow is "engagement snow"--what i believe your mom calls "charlie brown snowflakes," right?

and i SO want to start knitting!! did i already tell you that one of my students pulled out her knitting needles the other day and was showing me how to get started? i've knitted before; however that must have been like 17 years ago or something. maybe i'll buy some yarn this weekend... what are you making?
