Amazing.

It is funny how many of us have had similar experiences (I broke down in Canada this summer on my way to Detroit to catch a flight, the car is somewhere in Oshowa). I am thankful that God can use such strange things to make us more like Himself. It is good to serve a Sovreign God.

Thanks

Well, Jen. I read it, all of it, and although I don't have much time to comment, this was the thought that struck me-your greeting is "Welcome Home" and reading this entry, I felt perfectly at home because I've experienced similar weekends with way too much to do, too many dishes to bring to too many functions, and too many places to go. You are truly among friends. :)

thanks for sharing that, jen. now i will not think that my saturday was crazy anymore. it is always encouraging to hear how the Lord is able to work on us. and those reactions (the good ones, that is!) are so totally from Him.

i hope you're feeling better! oh, and i know that the towing thing is not always pleasant. especially when dads are far away... but i think it's another one of those "hey, i know how this works now" events of life. ever considered aaa?
