funny how attached we are to our little fleeting vapor of a life. it’s fine to talk of Heaven until we realize it means leaving what we know and what our mortal bodies enjoy.

on the other hand, there’s a positive aspect of our split desires. when we’re dead, we get to see Christ, but when we’re dead we don’t get to serve Him here on earth. sounds like a Pauline struggle to me.
