Interesting…I think I’ve got a very vague and distant connection to your church. If the Christine Edmonson mentioned in passing on the church site is the same one as I think it is (and I’m pretty sure it is), she dated one of my good friends in high school back in PA for a while. I wonder…they’re both at NBBC now…

Anyway, nice design and all, both for your site and the church’s. Next to my hometown of Philly (yes, I’m still bitter), Boston is one of those cities that I wouldn’t mind being called to if I ever get out of grad school alive. I love ministering in the city…so many unique opportunities the suburbs just don’t have. I’d be interesting in learning more about your church sometime…I’d browse the site now if I could keep my eyes open. I’ll be back…

Well, Greg (Mr. Linscott?), Pastor Bill remembers you :o) He also remembers “Gunpowder” Bauder (aka Dr. Kevin Bauder)–they were classmates at some point. Interesting way the world connects, isn’t it? Whoever it is uses a really old browser, and I’m curious how the website looked to him or her. It might have looked a little weird.

Actually, mels, it’s a bit longer–that one part of my hair that is sweeping back across my shoulder (that sounds dramatic, doesn’t it???) is, well, sweeping back across my shoulder. That other blob of reddish/yellowish/brown is no lapel–it’s the rest of my hair :o) You ahve an interesting way of looking at things, Mels!

so is your hair shoulder length? i couldn’t tell for sure. was thinking that maybe the rest of your hair was hiding or something. and i wanted to be cautious this time b/c usually when i comment on someone’s “haircut,” (in a photo) i’m usually off b/c it’s just pulled back or something. i guess i’ll just need to see it for myself!

Mels, I think you’ve got a point. Definitely not as blond as I was in Germany (read: not as blond as I was in that nasty, nasty photo you posted on my birthday! ;o) The haircut helps tremendously–my new hairdresser (I don’t visit such establishments on a remotely regular basis, but I will visit Tony for more resgular tune-ups) convinced me that “bottle blond” was not the way to go, and actually threatened never to give me a nice haircut again if he found out I was still brightening my own hair. SO–since he actually accomplished a small compliment-yielding miracle for a small fee, I’ve agreed to grow it out, cut off all the yellowy bits, and start over with some longer-lasting, fade resistent highlights (my hair does lighten naturally in the sun). So, there you go.

I can’t believe I just put that all in my comment bar…
