My own family didn’t know Jeremy was coming for Christmas–or that there even really was much of a Jermey at all, if that makes sense–until Thanksgiving. I on the other hand had known for at least a month beforehand that he’d be here. I had the hardest time telling them, and for no good reason. I think I thought they’d be shocked and rather scandalized to find out I’m actually human and I like boys (real ones, who sometimes like me back). :o) It has done irreparable damage to my stone-cold ice queen image that has taken 24+ years to cultivate in their eyes, but…I guess that’s okay; they’ll get used to it, anyway ;o)
